Antonio
Yes we all know he fucked up but, is it just me, but does he look about 2stone overweight & moving accordingly?

Most of the players look unfit & out of condition to be fair, but none more so than Antonio

Re: Antonio
he's looked injured in previous games, a lot of the squad look unfit or lacking explosiveness. well done slaven, another victory

Re: Antonio
He's obviously carrying an injury.

Ribs take fucking ages to feel better, even if they're not that badly damaged.

Agree Jack, he doesn't seem the same since his injury

Re: Antonio
I've always liked and rated Antonio, but what he did yesterday in the final moments was stupid and naive. Carrying extra weight or an injury can't be an excuse, he ought to have done a 'Marlon' and shielded the ball at the corner flag.

I'm struggling to think of a more brainless pass while watching us which is saying something.

It was of Scaloni proportions.

Re: Antonio
Talking of Marlon, how many moaned when he failed to go to the corner flag and instead made the braindead decision to pass to Zamora here:

If it had been a shit pass, and Sunderland had broken free to EQUALISE IN THE LAST MINUTE, probably nearly everyone.

Re: Antonio
The whole club has been run like a circus from top to bottom for umpteen years which is why we will struggle for many more until we have a massive clearout.

Re: Antonio
I screamed blue murder at him when he crossed, and that was nothing compared to what I screamed when the goal went in. My kids witnessed this, and I'll say now what I said to them this morning, once I'd calmed down.

Of all our players, he owed us the least, in fact, he owed us nothing until that absolute clanger. He was cheap, has been played all over the shop, and has busted his nuts for us since he came in, and largely to good effect. So if I can get the image of that weak cross out of my nightmares, I won't hold it against him too long.

He does now owe us and his teammates and his manager, and I expect him to give us some real shifts, if he's fit, that is.

From that video of Noble at the end of the match, he wanted to kill him too:

Re: Antonio
Antonio is a fantastic guy, and on a good day one of our best players.

That said, he has on numoerous occasions try to do things on his own in stead of passing to a better positioned teammate.

The past few games has been shockingly bad, and that last pass was so careless and stupid. No words really

He's been my favourite player but that was such a bad decidion. I just cant fathom why any pronwould have made that decision.

Re: Antonio
Watch the video of Noblecwalking of the pitch at the end with Tomkins and Zaha. He can clearly be seen saying along the lines of "he was in the corner" his anger was clearly directed at Antonio and you can imagine the pelters Antonio got when he got back in the dressing room.
Anyone questioning Hart's commitment needs to watch his interview after the game. There was a bloke who was outstanding and absolutely gutted at what had just happened.

I've been a big critic of Noble in terms of his downward spiral of firm but maybe there are a few others in that team who if they had the same desire and attitude shown by Hart and Noble we wouldn't be in the shit we clearly are in right now.

Should sell the lazy cunt then. Not as though he's some sort of world beater.

Re: Antonio
Well he can forget playing for England for a while. Sheer dumbness of his decisions lately have made sure of that. Shame because he really could develop & step up a notch if he wants to.

Unfortunately for us we need him as he's about the only one alongside Lanzini that can tear past opponents and actually create something.

Re: Antonio
Listen to his interviews he really is not the brighest guy you'll ever come across, i reckon that had something to do with it. But to me he also looked really uninterested as he got the ball in the corner, almost cocky.
